Does that frame have eyelets for internal cable routing along the top tube? If so, and if it had eyelets for a rear rack, that would be close to spot on for my perfect winter bike.
Small thing, the left brake lever is stuck in the open/QR position... do you normally have it closed or is the brake cable too short?

It does have internal cable routing, and theres fender mounts, dunno can you put rear rack on that. Hey thanks for noticing the lever qr thing, forgot to put it back after putting it together.

No worries, I just installed the same levers in silver on my commuter. The Natureboy does look very nice... shame about lack of monies. :(

I got a zoncolan and first few rides were fine, it introduced itself properly to my gooch on a 60 miler a week later and since then they have been on nodding terms only with each other. Hoping they can learn to get along.
edit, was replying to something which appears to be on an earlier page, d'oh

with thanks to jogger, finally found a silver post, so I'm close to happy. i want to get rid of these wheels and replace them with something with a box section rim and preferably (but unlikely) a set of hope ti glides. i decided put spuds for winter instead of look keos. pretty happy with it, not too sure about the saddle, its fine unless I'm not wearing padded shorts then its a bit uncomfortable over 5 miles, but that will be last most likely, wheels are now on the agenda.

Makes sense, but you know what the porn thread is like practicality and sense mean nothing there
Fuck the haters. That's much better than 90% of the crap being posted in there by fools recently. It's going in!

my winter "hack":
42x19, fixed. Nokia w106 37mm studs. Avid shorty 6 on front. Hmm have to check those brake pads, pretty close to the tyre.
I like that a lot. How does it ride?

I, being the expert in short stem technology, and I can assure you it'll ride twitchy.

Anyone know where I can get the missing bulb holder for this dynamo rear light?
You might be able to modify something like this.

(with a hammer, of course)

naa, not that twitchy, 71 head angle keeps things under control. Rides well, although I think I should have waited for like a week of ice and snow so changing to studs would feel good (via increased, not decreased speed).

You'll regret it. Still cursing myself for selling my zondas. Fast as hell.

Well, you can probably get your money back given that they are rarely less than £70 in a shop, but civilised people might refuse to do business with you if you keep saying Campy.
