  • i like it, I'm not complaining.

  • Me neither, love it. I would say black bartape and black hoods, but when u look closer, the white and brown is also on the decals, so lovely matching.

  • not sure am I being trolled or not but I think your heels are going to hit a bit further than that. Crank clearance maybe?

    zing, crank clearance it is.

  • Haven't decided yet. It's my everyday ride so should probably have a degree of comfort but it deserves track drops (and stem) really doesn't it?

If you're that bothered, you can have both, like the Cinelli Giro D'Italia, or even Cinelli Criterium:

  • it works for me

I also like that my light bike is light (although at 6.75kg you'd probably think it a little porky), but I'm a racer so my first instinct is always to take the piss when weight weenies make their bikes slower by trying too hard to be lighter.

  • at least he rides it
most of those WW bikes are for bedwetters and measurebators

  • I like the Giant, but I liked it more a few alterations before.
The Miyata is so close to being lovely, a few tweaks and it would be a real winner.

Tibbsy seeing as you have a quill stem, why not go for pursuit bars? the Mavic/nitto/cinelli's are all good choices, and decent for commuting. Or ergo bars with two levers if you're going for real commuter comfort.

  • Whats the second dimple in the chainstay for?

Dunno. All Bruisers have it though.

  • zing, crank clearance it is.

    Should have read further.

  • Bought off here with a siezed stem in the forks and with a distinct used look to the paint

Very nice Koga (despite the "wrong direction" seat tube decal").
But please don't touch the paintjob of that Union / Motta.

Cheers Ed. Yeah, I looked at the Criteriums. They seem like a pretty solid option. Just need to figure out what to do about braking cos I've never gone with hoods etc before. I guess the other option is just to have a regular single lever but they tend to look shit on drops...

Hoods are good - I've got Giros with some campag levers and it's very comfy

If you use black bar tape, the Cain Creek cross top's are a nice option. They blended into the curve nicely on my Campion del Mondo's when set at the right angle.

Alternatively, if you're going for that style some old drop levers will look good - something like modolo ones that you'll hopefully be able to get in black.

  • Feck.. This should've been mine.. Would pick it up today.. Got gazumped by the seller texting me yesterday "it was withdrawn".. Look what I bumped in today on someone elses flickr.. Gutted, gutted, gutted..

  • It's already been posted in Porn.
    You're welcome.

  • How much was it, if you don't mind me asking?

  • Well, we get good deals here in the Netherlands.. Let's just say, valuewise, he got himself a free frame.. Plus some nice beermoney..

  • Oh, have to add though, the seatpost and "cockpit" weren't part of the sale.. He added them himself..

  • You mean the frame, cranks, wheelset, were part of the sale?

  • For the white gara...

  • ^what frame are those going on? Very nice.

  • Modern Concor saddles don't look like the older models, or is it just me?... they look wrong.
