risers, long BMX grips and a turbo?
-
• #52428
definitely needs riserzzzzzz
strong x grips to top it off ha!
not a big fan of turbo though prefer something a little slimmer. Are those concor saddles really uncomfortable as ive heard? -
• #52429
Yes, or I thought so...
How about a rolls due? I haz one for sells if you want... too narrow for me. Nice looking saddle
seen here before I swapped out for a regular Rolls
hard to tell from pictures, they are much slimmer than a rolls though.

ha... every colour but black!
I'm in Leeds sorry, but would do it for £22 posted which would cover the cost of the Rolls I replaced it with. If you want I can get some close up photos tomorrow and some comparison ones with the regular rolls to give you an idea of dimensions (supposing you've seen a rolls before...)

word of warning, with track fork, you'll find it very hard to steer with a bit of weight on it due to the reduced rake and high trial.
I've found steering isn't too bad but when you stop it wants to go over the handlebars if theres too much weight, need to keep on the saddle :/

Thanks man. I havent weighed it but i think its around 7kg and a little bit.
Nice, have you taken it down Richmond park yet or bit windy for the tri-spok?
-
• #52437
Get a Flite obvz.
Risers with gel cushion and cloth bar tape...

bit windy for the tri-spok?
If you're troubled by cross wind when using a Hed 3 front wheel, just ride faster.

Finally, finally found a nice 52/53cm road frame for the wife's single speed build. It's a young's of Lewisham 531 double butted but sadly she don't like blue so it's off to Mario we go......

Very true and the faster they go, the more scary they sound

yeah its going well, there have been a couple of pretty large hiccups but i reckon i've got them all sorted. i've had soooo many things to do other than build my bike so it's taken a good while. thats true about saddles as well, my saddle of choice is a stripped slr, something that not a lot of people get along with.

this is my rossin (t)rack bike :), i'll probably get crucified for slapping sweptback handlebars on a vintage track frame but its such a nice ride now and room for shopping or girlfriend on the front, maybe not with these wheels
This is brilliant! And quite like my current project... what rack is that on the front?

my plastic bike is completely finished. Pics to come. It's awesome.
My HHSB winter build with a bit of spok on the front, will change qr and slack chain too but that izumi super toughness just busted my chain breaker so back online to order that cracker! Halo berlin couriers coming in the post along with tyres and some sleek mudguards. Not sure about few things:
Bars?
Saddle?
recommendations welcome
