PX Carbon Fork (should save 20 mins over 25 miles)
Carbon Aero Seatpost (15* mins over 25 miles)
Specialized aero bottle (45 mins over 25 miles)
Total aero savings: 1 hr 20, I won't need to train for months! All this might be true, if you were my granny and you normally took three an a half hours to ride 25 miles.
1hr 20 saving on 25 miles, ought to mean that you're doing time travel not time trialling. -

Nearly there with my commuter. Following 2 crashes, 2 totaled bikes and unrelated ankle surgery, I'm almost back on my bike.
Here's how I got it..
Here's how it is as of last night..
Bars, seat and crank are salvaged from my last Raleigh,
Back wheel was kindly put together by Dale
Front wheel by me.Need to get the chain on and I'm away. Paint needs a few bit's of touching up but it's going to be fine to get me to work and back.

that brooklyn would be fucking lovely, if it wasn't in such gash colours.
chatting to scott last night, that was one of the original colours they came in. i think it is a nice refreshing colour. -

No respray. Maybe new forks.
Risers. Strong as fuck wheels. Might even go non-more-black. hmmm...
no point having strong wheels, when the frames that are built like that flex like a mofo. -

Looks like I've got a new project on the go!
Just heard back from the seller RE this thing.
Going to make for an interesting build! 700c front and rear as I expected, but 130mm rear spacing. Means I may do MTB disk hubs with a bolt on sprocket or something. Hmmm.... any other suggestions? -
• #5060
space the hub out - easy. plenty of hubs can be spaced to 130mm. is it steel?
-
• #5061
Alu. Or I would have given it a little bend ;)
-
• #5062
no bend its alu
-
• #5063
indeed.
-
• #5064
space out a standard hub
-
• #5065
exactly, just stick another 5mm nut on each side.
-
• #5066
Guess it is over 120 as it looks like it has a mech hanger so could be run with gears?
-
• #5067
Yeah. It's a hacked up road frame you see.
-
• #5068
nice frame indeed, id just run a 130 spaced hub
none of that bolt on lark -
• #5069
what are the ride characteristics of a frame like jammys with the raised seat tube and stays?

Not the best hubs in the world but will save all the spacing malarky.
