finished building this last night, but unfortunately it's too large so I'm going to sell it. Was nice to have a project for a while though

Too large, you say? How big is it and how much are you thinking of charging for it?

fuck! that condor is grim.
if you lost the spacers, flipped the stem and fitted proper bars it would probably fit.
but then it wouldn't be a hipster-fixeh -

Setup-wise, it looks alright for you. The seatpost isn't slammed, nor at it's limit. Standard length stem and little/no spacers.
If it's feeling too 'long', move the shifters a bit higher on the bars and rotate the bars back a little to reduce the reach. They're in an odd position at the moment.

Nice, all of these are making me wish I hadn't sold my budget Merckx now

Single speed mk 3:
All the bits from my last attempt transferred onto a larger frame. Soon to be fixed wheel mk 1 if I can get the right hub from somewhere.

+1
Maybe also try loosing 10-20mm off the stem and/or switching the bars for a more compact set to bring the shifters closer. If you're in london I've got a spare set of cheapo ones you can have to try.... and may also have a 90mm stem knocking about.

Pulled this rusty old pug from a neighbours skip
One rainy Saturday afternoon in the garage raiding the parts bin and its turned into this
which is a lot of fun (32c maxxis cyclo cross tyres give it a go anywhere appeal)
I really like the colours although its suffering with a lot of rust perhaps a respray?

You mean like the Kona Honky Inc?
Basically a combination of a road and cyclocross bike = commuter bike.
-
• #50473

28c won't fit?
The one in the photo is my exact frame, although the photo was taken by the seller, not me.
Actually the darker paint isn't black. It varies between dark grey/blue/purple, like you describe yours. I was dead set against a black saddle as I thought it would be too much, but the more I thought about it I realised that a fully black saddle would illustrate that the darker colour of the frame itself isn't actually black and would contrast nicely.
I think.
