Ok, resized ones:
I didn't realise Peugeot made track frames, I want one :(.
Talking of Peugeots the front derailleur of mine has broken, well the bracket that holds it to the seat tube has but it is all one piece. This is probably a stupid question but would a new one (rather than one the age of the frame) be ok and work with the down tube shifters?

It will work, road front dérailleurs are ore or less universally interchangeable and down tube levers aren't indexed for the front anyway.

thankyou, its number 23 of a small run they did of columbus frames.
crap lighting today, just a quick phone pic with effect.
now I look at it, they need flattening at bottom to be inline with top tube. -

Old single groove/woven fibre bars and Tektro caliper demoted to 464, with new S900 levers. Silicone rubber tape round the left lever to prevent rattling. Posting on LFGSS as displacement activity when I should be taping the bars.

Ceramic bearings are fecking hard. If the BB is poorly designed. They will trash it. Cup/bearing alignment is more important than bearing material. So if you needed to go for a non-cannondale BB to get relible ceramics. You'd want to be bloody sure they would fit with at least as good tolerances as the stock dales.
They are Cannondale cranks- I've ordered them (175mm, 53/39), it's whether or not to go for steel or ceramic bearings that I am debating.
These are the ones:

still will be too heavy, no doubt rendering your bike totally unrideable

I'll use depleted uranium to ballast it
EDIT\ More poo flung at Cannondale Ceramic bearings http://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=50920

use an inverse shim for the chain and polish off the writing on the freewheel

Or just spin it on ensuring the freewheel goes in the correct direction.
