Hi, been meaning to post in here for a few weeks now.
Here's my Raleigh DYNATECH 700 project.
Building it up with more modern Ultegra 6500 group.
3ttt stem.
Ergonomic drop bars.
Itm Aero wheels.
Schwalbe ultremo tyres.Stem looks quite short. Still, you'll need to ride it to see. An aero post would look good there in my opinion.

Looks really good. Are the rim stickers removable?
-
• #49259
Yes. But to be fair, I really like them.

Wonderful.
White bar tape would be super though.

Wonderful.
White bar tape would be silly.
I know, then it wouldn't match the saddle!

please inform when you have settle your opinion about the frame.
Nice build, funny valves nevertheless.you can add a clear grey marker finish to those stickers as a custom touch

Excellent bike, the Condor is a brilliant choice of frame for a quality modern steel frame.

What ed said.
My mate has a Fratello. Not the same I know, but fairly similar, and I've got a pista with the same tubing. Both are nice rides. And their frames are always neatly finished. Pop into Condor to have a test ride.

Haven't done any long ride with it yet but so far I can tell that I love it. Some people might think that it is heavy and slow since it is a steel frame but it actually gives you the feeling of a modern bike: quick, responsive and stiff.
The forks I got are different to the ones provided by condor though. Mine are Deda Reb 07, not expensive at all.

i'm a little far from condor...
a friend just bought a 953 chip race but it's pricey for me.
i test ride many modern steel bikes and i will have kona haole for a day
but it doesn't came as frameset and i don't like kona's logo on my bike to be honest.
so i focus on Rourke's 853 super oversize, spirit from a local builder etc.Haven't done any long ride with it yet but so far I can tell that I love it. Yes indeed, and I noticed that the overall stiffness of the frames was similar, although the steel frame is slightly heavier (not much).
The Accacio is made to modern riding standards, therefore made to be stiff. The rear triangle is very solid, making the bike accelerate quickly. Also take into account that the Dedacciai tubing is well thing, up to 0.4 mm in the top tube. Pegoretti used to use the same tubing.
At the end it will be down to the components that you put on it, good light wheels will make it a million times better. Cheap heavy wheels will make it slow. Also, I have another bike with oversize steel frame (731) and I loved it, so I wanted something that would offer similar feelings.

1+
My Brooklyn have oversized steel tubing, yet it have a great balance between stiffness and comfort, the BB area is surprisingly stiff with little flex but noticably more comfortable than an alu frame.
right now I'm trying to sort out the cantis on the new carbon fork on the Gangsta, it's the only last piece that defintely needed improving as the original clusterfork was way too stiff and little rake for my liking (32mm, new fork is 45mm)

White planet x replacement.
If anyone has a cheapish shimano seatpost to offer i might be interested.
I have been offered a nos one already, but all the rest of the bike and components are used. Seems daft shelling out cash on a mint seatppst.
