73' Carlton track.
Just need to get a new sprocket for the rear and I can fit a bigger chainring on the front, also need a rivet for the Brooks.
Sorry for the poor photo -stupid photobucket compression

Planet-x frame arrived today. It looks so small! Having doubts about the size of it.
Mocked up with 32c tyres and temporary bars/stem. Doesn't look so small now...

That's a fair drop to the bars. You might want a couple of spacers there.
Looking quite pretty so far.

I bought this frame for £15 via a couple of people on here, it was in pretty poor condition (bad paint work, seized bottom bracket/crank and seatpost) but I stripped the paint, removed the seized parts etc and got a neighbour to spray it for free.
Judging from the mudguard eyelets, average clearances and drilled rear brake (the former I must admit I removed) it looks to be a path not a track frame. It's quite light and has made for a good starting point for my first 'proper' build. Thanks to those that provided parts - still awaiting some better forks, chainring and a couple of other bits but for now I'm happy.
There's some more pretentious spiel and extra photos on my equally pretentious blog which can be found here.

Yeah, there's not even a headset fitted. I just wanted to put my mind at ease and assemble it to get a feel for the size...
Quite pleased with my ebay bargain £24 PX Pro forks too.

The replacement Cove.
A lovely light Ti frame. Really surprised at the weight of it even with the wheels and everything on. Heavies bit is the forks, but bombers aren't known for their weightweenie attraction. I prefer Marzocchi to Fox. I don't have to keep on top of servicing but I will loose performance as the seals go. I've got a half link chain and an eccentric BB to go on as it'll be singlespeed
The tyres on there are Michelin 1.95's. A bit of a mystery to me as I've not used such a skinny tyre in over 7yrs. For the past 4yrs I've been using nothing smaller than 2.3". They'd be great for cyclocross. But I can't imagine riding my local trails on them
Still need brakes, BB spacers, grips and a saddle.

If you're going to be picky.
Shame about the braze-ons. :(

Do you think so, or are you being facetious? The track dropouts looked original - is there such a thing as a non-converted road bike with track dropouts?
I agree it's a shame about the braze-ons but it cost me sub-beater prices to do up so it's no great loss in that respect and at no point would I have used them.

Since when have horizontal dropouts been called "track dropouts"
