Yeah, I've got about 1 day to get my 953 project off the ground and onto this page. Not going to happen, given that my 2012 project is carbon, so we're looking at 2013 for the 953.

slowly gathering parts for my porteur (ignore the front wheel and paint). I wanted to mock it up to see what the wheel clearance was like. The front is a 700c with a 23c tyre and there is practically no clearance even though the frame (Carlton Corsa) is designed for a 27" wheel. I haven't got the wheels yet so what should I do, will 650B with 32 mm tyres work?

anyone give me a thereabouts figure of how much building something similar to this would cost? (I already own that exact frame). Never built a bike before..
cheers.
Sorry, isn't this completely untennable? Even if something like this could be built, which I'm not saying it SHOUD, wouldn't the price quite possilby be a single human life?

So my chinese carbon forks were a little annoying to fit an expanding bung in to the steerer. Only an M:Parts one would fit, the other couple I tried were about 1/2 a mm too wide. But it's all together now and really fun to ride.

All that needs to be done is to change everything on the build that's yellow, to silver/black (rims/tyres respectively), add some clips and straps and he's got a lovely beater!

I've got a mid 70s Viscount touring bike that I would like to recondition, unfortunately the paint has taken a hammering over the years and I will need to get it re-sprayed. Can anyone recommend a good painter who will be able to match the colour as close as possible to the original?
Argos, mario vaz or Atlantic boulevard might be able too

I didn't mean an exact clone of it. I would probably choose slightly different bars and have some brakes obviously, more concerned about the wheels which I personally do like despite being garish.
Can anyone tell me the exact bars on that pink bianchi?
