You always build bikes that look like dogs taking a crap...
Wtf is wrong with your saddle?.. and why is it so at the back in the rails?
And then a tiny stem... oh, I forgot..(t-rex). -

ok not current project, but this is my brother, and here is riding it the other night when we were out. about two drinks later i cut him off accidentially and he went soaring through the air to smack pavement. walked away, thank god.
Well tell your hipster brother to fit some brakes he might not get lucky next time

finished my semi-beater, rode pretty well, for an average run-of-the-mill frame that is, I'm loving the 8x1 set-up as it's perfect for city (11-28 x 44)
Just need to peel the sticker off.
This chat has been v. helpful, trying to decide on how best to build this up. Not, fixed as I've got three, fancied hub gear or your setup ed. http://www.flickr.com/photos/41160135@N05/5600238560/ Thoughts anyone?

Please just go to your lbs and spend £3 on some new inner and outer, that looks stupid and in reality is kind of unsafe, it ruins what is a really good job.

I'd defend any man's right to get pissed with his brother, then ride track bikes on the streets at night.

You might also try tilting the bar angle back past level. Looks unridable set up as it is. Just bring the stem up if she needs the extra height.
Lovely restoration though.

Peugeot UO-10 rebuilt as single speed, just taken for its maiden ride.
Original frame - rust treated, polished and clear-coated.
Velocity Pro elite deep V rims, campagnolo #1035 record / super record hubs hf freshly laced, new vittoria rally tubs.
SR - 48t crankset with 18t freewheel, leotard quill pedals, Moustache bars, old cruiser levers, new velo studded saddle, new dual pivot brakes.
Lots of fun! -

that looks pretty nice. take the rim stickers off and raise your seatpost though.

Can I ask what tyres those are? A Vittoria something?
-
• #45117
Nice build, but if your seatpost is that low chances are your frame is too big.

Thanks Joe, the sticker are coming off but no point raising the seat post if I can't reach the pedals... love the frame but it's already a stretch.
