  • I'm now a convertor to the 3T bartape, though Fizik was good, till I tried the 3T.

  • Fizik is good, made me laugh though when Mr Smyth called it 'commuter' tape.

  • I've seen many people riding ss with no back brake since the sun came out. All very well if you're experienced, keep your weight back blah blah. If a kid runs out in front of you or if you're not as experienced as you think it only takes one crash for you to fuck yourself or the person you hit up. If you're riding ss through London without a back brake you're either clueless or a poser.

Not clueless or a poser - The green CB is just a cheap second bike for getting around on while I fix my main bike up / something for friends to use when they come round. If I can find a cheap rear fixed wheel for it that would be great, but it works fine now as it is.

This is my other bike, with front and back V's...

  • new project for summer. got some 75's to go on. still after: a decent stem, 48t zen ring, ck headset and thomson seatpost.

Looks nice. Check Singletrackworld Classifieds for CK headset, Thomson stem and seatpost.

  • New wheels and a few minor changes... tempted to put a 3T pro stem on instead of the team to get rid of the red...

I need to get a Cervelo one day. Are those FSA Wing bars?

  • Sun is out, everyone's got a 'current' project. I want some.

  • What Reynolds are those on the Cervelo? They are lovely! 46mm ones?

These are some of the nicest wheels ive seen in a while.
Looks to be a very promising project. I call lolita.

  • Excuse the front wheel/tyre, and the cranks. And the rear wheel. Also, bars and saddle aren't actually like that, it's just the photo angle.

  • Whats the steerer length on the wound ups?

  • @Joe That Batavus build is so nice. Is that your wheel build? What saddle?

Dura-ace seatpost would look pretty dope on that.

Been lot's of winning going on recently...proper jeal.

  • Not quite sure. Somewhere over 200mm, maybe 220?

  • Ah, okay, too short... :P

  • Ah, okay, too short... :P

Hahaha. Would've liked to keep it longer, but that'd have meant a spacer mountain...

  • +1 on young Superjoe's build, looking good already.

    Nice geared Roberts too.

  • i hate superjoe and his nice bikes. even his BMX is nicer than mine!
    hes not even legal yet!

nope, not my wheel build, i bought them from rusty, the owner of glasgow fgss.
yeah, i was thinking either silver thomson or dura-ace. the saddle will be my stripped slr for now but im still pretty much constantly changing my saddle to find the comfiest, the slr is pretty damn comfy though.

thats what i get from not paying tax on my wages :)

  • Finally usable. Strange how much of a difference the hole in the centre of the wheelcover makes to handling. Still need non epically wide bars.

  • Here is my first ever build. Its a Graham Weigh 531 frame, wheels are from Varno and other bits were sourced through classifieds on here

More photos here if you are interested http://www.flickr.com/photos/tomkidd/sets/72157626558839872/

  • Wow, that is beautiful for a first build, very well executed.
    p.s
    is that GorgeousBabyBlue™ ?

  • ^nice job, looks like battleship grey

did this in 24 hours, which surprised me as it has vertical dropouts. Luckily for me the 2nd combination I tried was perfect.. this kind of luck never happens for me! Had a little bez up and down the road, looking forward to tonight's ride

    excuse the slack chain.
still need to strip the saddle and get a new seatpost.

  • Looks like Andel/Zenith to me. (The crankset, that is)
