  • ^^drat, beaten

  • haha

  • mdcc_tester in "giving myself the best possible chance of being seen by blind car drivers" shocker.

  • That's what they all say Tester.... tsst tsst.

  • How do triangles work?

  • U press them.

  • When did triangles become hipster? I've had that one on my disc for 10 months, maybe I was ahead of the curve* :-)

*Fashion prediction: It's going to be all about curves for FW2011

  • So final(ish) set up- Seat height needs a bit of more playing + maybe an upgrade.(its about a 1/2" drop saddle to pads, but fits so comfortably after a brief ride (tmw is a proper test- today was- does everything work?)

    Spec List:
Vision integrated TriMax Bars and Levers
    Lavoro color Bar tape.
    Cane Creek Brake.
    Deda Blackstream Carbon Aero Forks
SRAM Apex Converted Crankset + 53T Goldtec Chainring- which are amazing
    Mavic Ellipse Wheelset.
might change the rear cog so that I can jam the wheel against the ST also.

Really like everything apart from the bars, I understand they a functional but they kinda ruin it for me.

  • Needs triangles.

  • But it has an upside down triangle made up of rectangles....?!

    fucken next level shiatt!

  • Needs triangles.

    I see lots of triangles

  • Needs white text, something deep and meaningful written... would also work better in a forest.

  • the truth of triple-triangle frames slowly dawns

  • @ mdcc, recently I have a closer look at the new USE chainring, it appear to be a decent chainring, especially with the bolt;

methinks it's a worthy alternative to the Goldtec.

  • So the chainring sits on both sires of the spider and you use double chainring bolts. Nice and stiff

    really?
    they're my favorite bit:

    @mdcc- ace!

  • the truth of triple-triangle frames slowly dawns

  • but. but. there are no triangles on my frame?
Well 1, but its a fail triangle- curvy base.

  • Not enough.

  • really?

Just think easton ec90 would look bad ass.

A man who knows a lot about chainrings told me Use don't actually make those. I like the idea, but it would fuck up my chainline, which is currently within 0.1mm using the Goldtec on my converted UltraTorque cranks. If I ever upgrade the cranks/ring on my race bike, it will be to Zipp Vuma Chrono

  • I haz one of those too!

Ventus bars are new for this year, saddle to pads is 15cm drop at the moment, not as much as I've used in the past and I might try it with fewer spacers, but as I did a short 58 on it on Saturday I'm probably not going to change anything until after I've finished the two 50s I have scheduled this year.

    That looks 'king quick

  • That looks 'king quick

I got beaten by over 8 minutes in 25 miles on Saturday, so it's still short of an engine powerful enough to make it properly quick.

  • This bike look crazy! Could you get an aerodynamically shaped seat post too?
