Far too good for me at the moment but I've learnt from bitter experience it's better to buy once than multiple times!
Never a truer word said.

maybe should have gone for one size bigger on that moda? I mean, the stem looks like 11cm.

Spacers Gonna Space!
yeah frame size fail... with a new frame, why?
-
• #43781
I've got proportionally long legs too. So I go for a big size to have a long enough seat tube and head tube and just have a shorter stem.

So why are you wasting your time with Campag Pistas? :-)

Small frame is lighter and stiffer, 11cm stem is fine. If it were my bike, I'd put a flipped 12cm Deda Newton Pista stem on it so I could lose most of the spacers.
Disclosure: I have a 12cm Newton Pista for sale

Ha! Certainly can't fault your logic but there has to be a limit somewhere :)

Of course, what's with the 11cm stem?
I wouldn't want anything smaller than 105, 110mm anyways.
In stem money 11 is the magic number. Says I. -

Not sure where to post this but i thought it was worth sharing ...
just got this black reflective sticker sheet from wiggle, plan to put it on my black frame, rims and any bits n bobs i can put it on, bloody impressed by its magicleness, i can actually stand in one place in my room under my light and moove around and see it change before my very eyes, trippy stuff

In stem money 11 is the magic number. Says I.Just that he could go for 90mm stem with 2cm longer (and taller) frame to get that seatpost a bit shorter and lose some spacers while doing it. Would that make it ride better? Dunno, but at least it would look somewhat more balanced.

90cm is a short stem. 110 is normal.

H, for the life of mine, i can't make out - how tall are you? =))

medium height.
5'10.
Seat's not quite right at the minute.
I've got quite long arms too which is a pain in the arse. -

I agree with the thoughts on stems and smaller frames vs. bigger frames but also:
They dont come bigger than 60' which is what i've got. Only similar bike that does which I know of is the Ridley Oval, but the bigger sizes have too long tt's.
But I'm thinking about moving the stem a spacer or two down. I seem to be a little more flexible than first anticipated.

90cm is hardly short miro.
On a serious note, I wouldn't says 90mm is too short, just the shortest you can go without compromising the bicycle handling (like says 60mm).

Bar reach must be a contributing factor here though?
