Denton Cycles 531st conversion; dodgy respray, new wheels and awaiting a new chainset and bb.

Should have my first fixed gear sorted by next week.

Beautiful Wilson. Matching saddle & bartape, and it would be perfect (IMO).

it's got bottle bosses and cable guides, more likely a converted road frame than anything else.

Looks good to me, although I would have it fixed if I were riding it, see no probs with it being ss.

You are right - matching bar tape would look better. Those bars were actually meant for another project which will have a black concor saddle. However, i have an issue with brown brooks tape. It never looks as dark as a brown brooks saddle. So i think if i did change it to match it would have to be a black saddle and tape not brown. Don't really fancy buying a new saddle!

The frame is Argos - doesn't show very well in the pictures - Wilson decal I added myself because my surname is Wilson.

Just picked this up Fausto Coppi Reparto Corse Championissimo for a friend - Columbus Genius and nice panto'd pieces.

I won't be puppy killing it, but it will get converted..
Cinelli Priest/Jitensha/MAP-Ahearn bars and some Panaracer Pasela's is all that's sure for now.

I just bought this.

As best I know, it's an early-nineties Colnago Super. The crankset is either Chorus or Athena and the derailleurs and (beautiful) shifters presumably match. The seatpost is Campagnolo as well. The remainder of the components are a bit of a mixed bag: one Araya rim, one Wolber rim, Continental rubber, Suntour Cyclone brakes, Dia-Compe levers, a Shimano headset, and a Nitto Technomic stem which I simultaneously rather enjoy and acknowledge doesn't really fit with the rest of the bike.

Though I got it for a good price, I am now broke so it is staying mostly this way in the near term. But who knows what the future will hold!

I had that issue. I found that repeatedly wetting it with salt water and rubbing it in had a similar effect to sweat over time, making it darker...? Worked for me. Additionally there are other brown bar tapes, not only the brooks stuff, which is really overpriced anyway.
