  • it's wrong so taking it off but enjoying the process...
    Besides's it's not a holdsworth.

No wonder you couldn't figure out which model it was!

  • My friend and I built this slightly ridiculous vehicle today. It is now complete with eye-watering NOS Ambrosio 'Phos' tape and 'awesome retro neon pink toe straps'.

  • 650c F&R Lee cooper lo pro.

Any ideas how to build this up? Been sat for 4 months now with no start to the project. May sell to fund a road bike? Hmm

  • ^^Needs pink chain, pink crankset and pink hubs! :P

^You still haven't built it, sell it to me in a couple of weeks when my student loan comes in!!

  • find 650 rims, build to hubs. build rest of bike with pursuit bars. ride.

  • find 650 rims, build to hubs. build rest of bike with pursuit bars. ride very fast.

With black components to make the frame stand out and to match the logo

  • Here's my 14 build. Had it just under a year, and Im gradually upgrading the components. I bought some Dura Ace (octalink) cranks in January as the Messengers were beaten up (knackered threads etc) and I needed to change my gear ratio.

Just taken it to have some new forks fitted as the ones on there currently are bent from being hit by a car a few weeks back. Had a bit of a shock the first time I tried to ride no handed after the accident and the bike suddenly veered to the right. Decided to change to quill stem and drops too (hence the top tube protector). I've also got a set of Schwalbe Lugano gum walls on order too as the tyres are pretty worn out.

  • You might be able to get the bent forks straightened and cold set, or are they too far gone? Nice frame. Is it a Hanbury?

  • Just finished building this.

  • need a new stem

  • Cheers Miro o, It's a truman frame, The driver who hit me is paying for them so I thought I'd get some new ones. Brick lane bikes did say get some new ones so maybe they are too far gone (but I may get someone with some mechanical skill to see if they could bend them back so I've got a spare set).

  • Nice bike, ruined by a comedy stem.

  • need a new stem

hmm not sure. I like the way the short thomson feels/looks. Will probably be removing a spacer though.

  • bmx kid, if you're getting the driver to pay for them, you may as well get the nicest forks you can, and have a go at fixing the old ones for spares.

  • Hi there
i have just finished my project..how do i get pics up and mot just links please

    paul

  • I have a 59cm keirin frame I might get rid of...

Which IMHO is one of the nicest track frames ever made in Japan.
i would consider sell all my bikes just to build that one ;P.

  • hmm not sure. I like the way the short thomson feels/looks.

    really?

  • really?

Err yea? It fits me what's the big deal?

  • really?

  • Yes

  • what, like really??

  • God not you as well murts...

  • It fits?!

but it doesn't fit in with the way I imagine every bike in the history of the world should look, so it must be like, wrong and stuff.

  • Err yea? It fits me what's the big deal?

I don't know you're experience, but are you sure? Done the axle test?
