  • @ illy got them from ebay.

@tallsam if you are after a 16t freewheel the one on my wheels will be for sale in a few days if you want it?

  • Yeah BDW you might have a stealthy tasteful build for Herne Hill but check my track weapon!

2003 Cannondale track frame, Easton forks, Dura Ace/Mavic wheels, SG75/Zen chainset, Selle Flite Ti, Easton + Deda pista stem and bars.

All second hand/free/spare parts box = ultra light bling for price of a Langster with downside being it looks like shit!

  • that's fucking great Steve!

you bastards are all getting nice fast machines for 09 :(

  • Nice Steve, needs a bit of tweekin imo but still a good buy nevertheless

  • well yes, he just needs to swap that brake lever for a chain and some pedals and he's MF trackside ftW

  • you bastards are all getting nice fast machines for 09 :(

i'll leave it a couple of days before I post my new build then :S

  • get it powdercoated, Steve, then your weapon will be complete.

  • This week's all about the the track iron*

    *Steel/Aluminum/Carbon

  • good job we're all getting the training in to do some of these track machines some sort of justice,

probably still gonna get my legs ripped off by some old git rocking round on an old beater tho…

  • yeah........me :)

  • ha!

  • nah, I'll just hide your baccy - you'll never get on the track then

  • I secretly love cannondales. What size is that frame?

waiting for my 5dMkII to arrive... and hoping Canon makes a nice 25p+manual exposure for video firmware upgrade soon.

  • 54CM.

Powdercoat or walk to Mario Vaz down the road or just sticker it.

  • Took this to my LBS today and they managed to open up the dropout... with an "agricultural" screwdriver. It was apparently a bit of a risk, but I'm happy I didn't have to go to a framebuilder and have a new dropout brazed/ welded in.

hehehe - I still have enough WAC stickers left to cover a bike, love to see the commissars face at HH if you rocked up on 'SonOfCunster'

  • Ignore me, I'm stupid (and a bit pissed)

  • Specs are
    Bob Jackson Vigorelli 653 49cm
    Chris King Gripnut H/set
Record Pista Crankset with matching Chainring
    Centaur BB
Bontrager Aeolus 5.0 Track wheel set
    Selle Italia SLR saddle

all other buts are a bit of a hodgepodge of buts from the parts bin

during the week, it has some cheap wheels, risers and a campag veloce brake up front.

cant do much better with the photo quality, due to lack of equipment, talent and patience so if you want to see it closer you'll have to catch me :p

  • Looks fast Ed.

  • hey,
    this is my first post
im building my first fixed wheel at the moment(ill put some pictures up soon!)
ive been thinking about riding clipless pedals on it would i be better starting off with straps and clips or should i be okay? ive got a front brake before anyone asks :)

  • clipless is probably safer than straps... clips are cooler (imho) and much more convenient. down to personal preference really!!
