I'm not saying it's wrong, I've had the same set up myself once with minimum clearence.

@ edscoble Ha ha ha ha ha.
Can you do a Irish theme ?
-

Road dirt, leaves, rubbish, less chance chippin ya paintwork, less chance ya back wheel locking up through debrie, less chance you falling off,
Just my opinion.
I know what you mean, a slightly larger clearance would give me more peace of mind if riding on the road.

Finished my very first road bike and all built by myself, quite proud of my build, rides absolutely beautiful and on a low budget I think I done well making it look good to, very happy with it!

The day I get thrown from my bike after a leaf or piece of dirt jams between my wheel and seat tube, I'll eat my grips

Shimano 105 levers, made in the 90's so not that modern
-

do you not find it a bit hard to modulated the brake with modern brake levers/old brakes?

brakes are newer as well, was actually real easy to set up though, well compared to what i normally deal with
literately only original part is the BB cups and bearings, headset and seat pin

It's for the streets - not off-streets.
The only danger to tight clearances are squirrels and foxes. -

I need to have a go on "*chain too short*" thingy.
Recently undoing my Missus chain... lol, thing was so tight I had to undo the chain link to take the wheel off.
Had been done, not by me before, I personally like to align the rear axle with the seat-stays.
Practicality. -

Can you do a Irish theme ?
Fuck you. Cunt.
how can you debrie a brie? by turning it inside out? and how is that revelant to the short chainstay causing the owner to fall off? (let alone locking up the back wheel).
you strange fruit you.
