Needs black tyres. Srsly.
I spent ages deliberating on tyre colour, ultimately between pink and black, then went with pink. I think you're all right, should of gone with black. Which is a shame because I spent £50 on those tyres and I've ridden them just enough to not be able to send them back :(
^yeah, it really does, but then it's pron. Is that a Colnago saddle?
also colnago bottle...
Sort of - it's the period correct Prologo one, but it doesn't have the Colnago logo. I do kinda want one with the Colnago logo on but don't know if it even exists in black (would rather keep a black saddle).
The bottle's just a Condor one I had to hand, was going out for a ride on Monday in the sun! Rest assured I am after a suitable Colnago bottle though.
Fox, looks nice but needs period bars, those anatomic/ergo drops don't look quite right.
They came on it, I'm not sure about them yet tbh. What would you fit?
It has a Chorus Headset already ;)
Nah full Dura Ace. All 7410. No way any Campag is going anywhere near it I'm afraid :)

What is the problem with that bike?? seriously! its just different, nothing wrong with it
different is good.
I kind of agree with this Ed, except I think it needs a black rear rim and ideally black chainring/cranks. And ideally a black stem. But I don't have a problem with the concept!

Nice bike, but period correct Prologo saddle ???
7400/7410 is from the mid 90s.
Prologo brand has been established just a couple of years ago IFAIKAll 7410 => doubt that.

me - which brakes should you use to perform an emergency stop?
trainee - er... both?
me - quite right
trainee - why did your bike didn't have brakes?
me - because I'm a bad ass motherfucker.

What aboout one of the Colnago Mapei Hoskar type saddles? in black. (although I have no idea of period correctness). Good one on the bottle, that and tyres and you got a serious bike.

Fox, San Marco Regal?;
Not period corrected, but it does look like a style that go with the bike.

I looked at that after I'd written it, thought what the crap am I on about, then had to go to work. I think they were put on later Colnagos but wouldn't have been around in 94/95/96.
Technically it is not full 7410 no, but it's correct for a 1994/5 DA 7400 "7410" build. So:
7400 STIs, stem, chainrings, fluted seatpost
7402 rear derallieur, hubs
7403 brakes (including pads!)
7410 cranks (including DA bolts!), BB, SPD pedals, headset, front derailleurAlso had correct chain and cassette but I've swapped these out for modern SRAM for better function and so I'm not wearing out expensive bits...

They came with and are, as far as I know, the original Precisa forks, so can't really help there I'm afraid.

If anyone can help on dating the bike I'd appreciate it, I know it's 94-96 but don't know the exact year.

Thanks. I love it.
@ superjoe, I do too. Originally I wanted his "F" headbadge, and painted on (as opposed to a metal badge) but now I'm really glad that Ricky changed my mind.

I most especially like the rear seatstay bridge.

I most especially like the rear seatstay bridge.
As opposed to the front seatstay bridge?
Anyway, definitely better than some of the wank 'alt' bridges we've seen, and a little reminiscent of
