PS, get a front brake on the P3. You aren't fooling anyone looking all "dirt jump/urban" with that bike. ;-)

Eh?
Not exactly a cross country ride is it?
what do you think it gets used for...? apart from posing next to the ramps at the skate park of course.

i am really really feeling this!
ive just been scoping out viking, look like really nice framesets! out of interest, did you have to add anything on for duty?and is ^ that 'grey' cos they don't seem to stock black, but that looks black.

Seems like you took inspiration for the color from that guy with the custom AL frame (forgot who it was..).
Looks very nice! -

After 3 months sat waiting for a courier I decided to drive 6 hours to pick up my roadbike. Changed over stem and bars, just need to chop the steerer and its done.
Focus Cayo Pro, DA 7900 and Ultra Shamal Wheelset. Very stiff and reasonably comfortable (on my Exmoor ride and todays London cycle)

Very nice.
I really want a modern road bike. Just struggling on what to get as money's a bit tight. I guess the sensible option is a decent used alu frame, then switch the parts over, and upgrade over time.
Modern steal or CF would be the dreaming
though. -

Modern steal
Not worth it, you'll piss off the legal owner and probably get caught.

hey ;)
Here am I again. Just to show you all new pics of my bike with a HED front wheel.
I never rode a bike with this kind of wheel. Yesterday i tested it (a very windy day) and "she" tried to bite me alot of times. I never imagine that the wind can affect "her" so much.
It's a great wheel to ride against the wind but not with side winds. -
• #41098
Prefer it with normal front wheel I think.

yeah! ;)
with the "normal" wheel the bike is more "friendly" and easier to ride.
I think i agree with you. I think this wheel will have other "owner/bike".
This is/was an experiment... -

Long time no see. New bike, Go!
who did the couplers job, and how much wa it at the end, all in?
physically pull on the cable from the topdube or downtube. (where ever it is)
does it shift?
if it does, then it's your cable tension. try turning the barrel adjuster on the shifter a few turns counter clockwise. failing that, check to be sure the barrel adjuster isn't already maxed out. If it is maxed out, then you need to get a 5mm alen key and adjust it at the deraileur. in this process you should also resent the barrel adjuster to a middle setting. the trick with the 5mm alen key bit, is to have the shifter in it's small ring position. pull the cable tight with some pliers (you don't have to kill it), clamp the bolt back down. be sure to reset the barrel adjuster first. Once this is set, try it out with the shifter and if it doesn't work, then start at the top of this post again and repeat the process until it's correct.
If it doesn't shift, then it's your limiting screw (and maybe the cable as well). Loosen the limiting screw on the derailuer until you can pull the cable and physically shift it without jumping over the big ring too far. The trick here is to not loosen it too much, otherwise you'll jump the ring. Also, be sure to adjust the correct limiting screw, there are two. Once this is set, try it out with the shifter and if it doesn't work, then start at the top of this post again and repeat the process until it's correct.
i can do this in about 1 minute. it may take you a lot longer seeing as it's your first rodeo. Don't chew up your cable too much by loosening and tightening the thing.
that was my good Samaritan task for the day.
