That langster is one of the few that looks in any way good to me. There's something really basic and minimal about it that I find appealing.
On a semi related note I put risers on my Dolan. I think some people were talking about how, for use on the street, Deda Pistas could be at best uncomfortable and at worst downright painful and I'd have to agree. Although they are still in my opinion by a mile the most aesthetically pleasing track drops on the market, they are horribly unergonomic. I think I'm just going to keep them for the odd trip to the local track or get shot of them altogether.

Ah, sorry about that (although, not really) I know there was a bit of interest, but i couldn't let it pass this time. Financially, it's put me in the sh1t, but it's worth it....and i've got it past the missus, balls intact :) Hoping she'll forget the one in, one out rule.

They sure are! It's a great frame, tight as hell. Really looking forward to getting it built.

(all ready posted this earlier)
hoping for some opinions so i hope its all right asking here? been thinking about making it better as a commuter style bike so i could go single speed so its easier on my legs and knees, but would braking with 2 brakes instead of 1 brake and my legs be as good? bit worried my brakes would be rubbish in the wet and they oldschool brakes to so they just arnt as powerfull, now with fixed i trust my legs more than my front brake, at the moment my front brake sucks and i only use it to help me slow down, i know a longer lever would probably help with the power though
also thinking bullhorns like nitto rb-018 and crosstop levers

just get some double pivot brakes and drop levers and use the bars you have.

1+ on spotter.
double pivot brakes will make a huge difference, to you it'll feel like a v-brake equative for road bicycle.

Have you seen any examples of those bars taped? well? because of the rounded ends, i think it can be problematic, not that i've tried yet. I wondered whether grips might work better as it's 2mm step down, but it so long that it would need one and a cut one to meet the step,if properly cut and glued it might be ok. Need to find someone who's done either successfully.

After final approval from the UCI inspector I managed to put this together without breaking anything.
Final bar adjustment and steerer cutting and fun with epoxy resin on the freaky steerer insert to come.

Wonder what Guy will say... -

^That bargain one I got from Ebay yeah, the clamp is too wide for the OS B123 cromo bars I wanted to use with it on track bike so I thought I'd have some fun with it rather than sell. Worked for Cav :)

It would be fine, I think you're just making things up in your head. I could make it work.
