Just sorted the wheels out. I think. Arranging collection...
SRAM Red, Zipp 808s. Some Keo Blade pedals in the post, just need to sort some handlebars out and stick everything together. This thing is a money pit, but I wanted to do it properly. -

My little christmas project. This is my Massi mountain bike that I keep at my parents in France (I'd like to bring it here actually)... I had these Massi grips matching the bike in my drawer in London for years and I would always forget to take them with me when I was going there... Now they are finally fitted!

My 585 Ultra was <£1200 for f&f, so I saved a grand I could put towards building it up. I then saved about £200 on the chainset by buying Record 10v after the 11v came out, and so on. If you take all the savings I made by shopping in the sales, getting last year's model etc. and then subtract that from what I actually paid, I reckon I got the whole bike practically for free. I'm pretty sure that's how economics works :-)
Bloody love that! How does it ride?
Really miss my dirt bike, but it's at home whilst I'm here in London...
