i'm after some opinion on what to do with this frame.
its from the 50's apparently built by Rolfe's cycles in Koornang Road Carnegie (Melbourne).

fully respray/chromed lugs or clear coat the original paint to retain graphics?

  • man that's a really nice frame, thought if I were you I'd have a proper check if the frame and fork is sound, the front part of the top and bottom tube look slighty bend as well as the fork, but it could be my eyes.

  • Nice Ed, I'd've got a silver crank though.

    Nice kitchen too ;-)

    Where'd you live?

  • Looking sweet Ed...

  • respray, delta. you're gonna want to scrape off a lot of that rust... it'll look slick when it's done.

  • thanks kids, i'll report on the actual state of the frame when i get my hands on it

  • My current project, no actual photos yet, but will sort something out when its done.

Its a Pro-lite Trentino Track frame.

Nice. Who's Matt Black, the builder?

  • V-Nice Ved - that was one of my favorite frames from the bike show - the one they had built up there was sweet! West London HHSB FTW!!

Well, I got this to use at Herne Hill and not around London town. But with the current mix of parts I have it is highly likely I will be tainted by the hipster brush and ridiculed on the track. Fuck it.

  • for next seasons track riding - need to dial in my saddle position/stem length and tighten the chain
