  • Perhaps mdcc tester can verify this for me.

Nobody can tell anything from a low resolution image taken under unknown lighting conditions of a component which failed under unknown load conditions.

  • who?

C.S. Grupetto is a cycling club..... arch enemies of Rollapaluza.

aaah kl i thought it might be cycling sports group - cannondale uk dist.

  • My new frame is coming with a quil seatpost WTF?

    Looks neat at least.

make sure you get the rubber seal to go round it where it goes into the frame. i have seen a stream post that looked like it had molded because it didn't have the seal.

  • we have a BMC using the same seatpost at work

    where are you working ed?

  • The new Wimbledon Evans shop, quite possibly the biggest Evans I've seen insofar.

    hahah you working with Pong?

  • ^ probably a bit of both no? Oh and as for weight, a Masterpeice is +£115, so not really comparable to a £65 post. Which is about what a standard Thomson is.

Smallflurry - I'm trying to work that out... I guess the little allen key bolt on the side adjusts the quill so you can raise the post with a saddle on.

I'm just not quite sure how it does that?
The bolt is,nt round. Turning it pulls the carbon thread, attached via a ring, taught.1/4 to loosen or tighten. No way to over torque it.

yeah, I,ve heard of squeaking issues too. Any idea where I could source one?

  • Picked up the Lynskey. Seems very nice to ride and looks great for real. Weight is 7.3kg, even with a fairly heavy alu 3T seatpost and seat with non-carbon rails...

Pretty much. that guy's a selling machine.

  • The Lynskey looksa fast... would prefer it with less stickers though they draw the eye away from the awesomeness of the frame.

  • Weight is 7.3kg,

    With no gears? Porker.

  • 4.8 kg at the moment

  • 4.8 kg at the moment

Did I accidentally click on the weighweenies forum? Still, quite good for a cheap bike, my 585 would be 5.1kg in that state.

Do you just push along with your feet? That's well old school... you fuckin hipster.

  • Nice frame, shame the seattube is too short. Your legs are soo long compared to your reach!

  • Its fun. Advertised as a 59 c-c. Is in fact a 59 c-t. And lets bear in mind that the seat tube extends beyond the top tube.

  • That Aende looks fantastic, too small for you? give it to me then.

  • Flowmont, if you ever sell that Aende I will have it, pronto.
Don't hesitate, just PM me and it's done deal. Thanks. ;)

  • It does look small for you. ;P

  • Or.... you can swap it with my Favorit, which is 61cm c-t.

  • Nuknow. This is tempting to say the least. Where can I see more photos? Give me some vital statistics on the geo and measurements too and lets cut the crap and get down to business!
