My most recent build. Been commuting on it for a few months and really happy with it.
The frame set is a 1950s/60s F.C.Parkes 531 that I had resprayed to match the origonal colour which was perfectly preserved under the headbadge, unlike the paint on the rest of the frame when I got it.

Well, it will be when you get a stem with more angle to it so you can ditch the big spacer stack. Get a spacer on top of the stem too, trust me.

The connection of the stem to the steerer is much more secure if the steerer projects slightly through the stem clamp, rather than stopping short of the top of the stem. You then need a spacer on top to let the preload adjuster work.

Well thank you very much I only have two spacers on there but they are quite wide so I could drop the stem and use a more shallow spacer and put one on top,could do with a more shallow drop track bar I think then.

I don't think your ever done with mdcc around! new front fork makes that the best looking planet x i've seen.

KC, is that the P-X arione copy? mine is only about 3/4 weeks old and has started sagging instead of being flat...
It is I have them on three of my bikes they have been ok
