My latest find - a 1985 Claud Butler Canyon MTB, one of the first mountain bikes to be built in the UK. Just loving the antler bars :)

I used clear waterslide decal paper. Maybe you could simply use plain white decal paper and just cut the stripes out.
Ahhh, ok.
I'm finishing up a Holdsworth road bike conversion today in a similar metalic grey to yours (it's just to sell on, I'm doing up another bike to ride). Going down to Halfords so might get a few tester cans to try out on some tubing I have and see if I can do it well with masking tape.It does look really nice, but have you moved the back hub so far forward in the dropout just for the picture? I wouldn't feel very comfortable riding around like that...

just so you know, that cage on the back is upside down. i'd just remove it all together, though.

Indeed, as someone said it's handy that way to bring back the paper on a Sunday morning :)
Picture taken just as I'd got it out of car so no time to change to guard :( -

I wonder if it's worth simply putting geared on mine, the downside is that it's design for internal gear only (got EBB).

I picked up this Condor Alu Pista frame and fork from Ev the other day and spent an entire evening peeling off duct tape and cleaning up what was beneath. Other than the cable stops having been crudely hacked off from the underside of the top tube the paint job by 'Winter' is in relatively good condition.
Earlier today I took a dremel to the ragged edges of what were the cable stops and I'm about to chuck a tin of Nitromoors over it and proceed to wet sand and polish. I've ordered a new set of decals and head badge from Belinda at Condor and depending on how I feel about the polished finish I may or may not dabble with a DIY spray job. I have some left over rattle cans from paint I had mixed up for a car related project so it would be cost effective. It would mean I'd have a matching colour scheme with the vehicle which could either look marvellous or wank. Decision time is not yet upon me. Alternatively I may just drop it off to Armourtex for black powdercoat. (Decals have been ordered in white).

I can see why he wanted to cover up the Winter decals, but that penguin is badass

The penguin does kinda rock but Winter font and colour way disagrees with me.

Peugeot frame from the early 50's. It was never been used or even painted.
It took more time than I expected but now it's finished. That really is very very nice.

Is that the original fork?

The cable run will be no worse than a modern cyclocross bike, but if it were mine I'd still put Tektro dual pivot callipers on it. Just make sure you get levers designed for road brakes, as MTB levers for V-brakes don't combine well with road callipers.

ahh cool i'm sure i can find something, the brakes are nice and powerful for teh rain up her so rather not replace whats not broken,
i'll fine some reasonable levers then

To somebody who doesn't know how wheels work
Yes, it's Titan handlebar/stem combination. VO Milan handlebar has pretty much similar geometry.
