that'd be a really nice bike without the hoods and just a front brake

Sorry, function over form - that set-up is the way it fits me, and the only way I'm happy riding it at the moment.

keep the hoods, ignore the fashion police. if you ride any kind of distance 3 comfortable hand positions make sense.

This is my current winter project... a charge plug freestyler spotted on the bay last week for £300 with some tasty 5 piece bmx style bars & a ti spoon saddle... good potential to make something a bit sturdier than my current bike and the ability to barspin on a 700c rim.
Stripped it down, took it to armourtex for some colour pimping based on a pile of black components I had kicking around that needed a new home.
Armourtex did a great job as usual & turned it around in 3 days, it's all just waiting to be assembled with a beer in hand, my favorite bit.
I've got a few options for wheels in my stash... will probably go for something black & sturdy with 28c conti contact sport tyres for comfort. I'll post the finished build soon.

flickwig... where the hell do I send you your clever boy medal?
although, it depends on how far you want the bars to spin really I suppose

@ vinylvillain
was yours lime green or white? I spotted a few bikes in there. There were 2 complete ghost bikes propped up by the door too which I think had been sprayed. a sad sight

True, but I'm not gonna be riding using 2 cranksets, 2 stems & 1 innertube. sorry to be factious

Those ghost bikes are ones they are doing trials on to get an easy way of doing them, i think pipwish is behind it?

That's a very nice set up you've got there, scarily similar to what I have planned... I think we may even have the same bars :s
ditto, ditto, and ditto
