Finally got round to taking the new ride for a spin. When funds allow (e.g. when I find gainful employment) probably going to swap the 44 criteriums for 40 and get a shorter stem. Got it from a bloke in Blackburn who used it for training round the hills with the back brake, need to get round to removing that and selling on. Need some white leather straps too. Long stem aside it rides like a dream.

takes about 4 minutes to dish the wheel over. take it to a shop. they'll do it for a small fee.
You may need to explain this to the special class

best campy brakes going on back, cinelli stems are nice.
youve got stuff for building the must have bike of the day, --a geared road bike. -

Jealous on so many levels. One of my fave frames and makes me sad that I trashed one of those rear shamals and foolishly sold a air of Delta's fpr just £50.
That is beautiful.
I thought I'd post up a picture of my current project so far...
Its a Columbus SLX Eddy Merckx Team Motorola TT Frame that I've had for a while, and I have been slowly recruiting bits and bobs for it, It's going to be a wall hanger really - but it's a fun project.
The bars/stem are only palced on/in - so obviously bar angles etc aren't right.
Just lacking DT shifters and a Campag seat binder bolt and I'm done (other missing bits already en route)

Made for a freak if body geometrics are anything to go by. Et? Nice stunt rim tho and looks like it needs an engine.

They're shitty pressed Peugeot cranks, the other single chainring I had was too big, and dump. I will put some BMX cranks and chainring on when I find some I like.

trim off the teeth to make it into a usable bashguard, cheapest way to do it too.

ooooft, jealous of the canyon. looking forward to seeing it built up
-
• #31324
Envious, maybe, but not jealous. Unless you want braker to lavish his mechanical attentions on you, instead of the bicycle frame?

Just put a deposit down on a Surly LHT frame and fork. My plan is to build it up as a commuter for now, with the option to change the components over and head out on my holidays on it when I can.
