Has anyone had a frame sandblasted, made up a stencil of the decal and put it in position, ran a blow torch over it (causing some discoloration of the metal) then clear coated. Would it work?

there is this guy 55/Rad that sandblasted a pinarello montello with the stickers then removed. The bike has been posted in every bike forum.

I don't give a shit how many fucking forums has it been on ... read the title thread title ... I will educate you it is called "current projects" this implies you are doing something towards it ... you aint, it is just a shiny piece of bollox that won't get ridden.

Show me some real bikes that actually do some real shit, i.e. they have been ridden ... and plus I am fed up of these studio shots ... it is a bike ... it has two wheel and some other important shit to make it work ... it doesn't need a modelling shoot.... give me a polaroid of some dude with his bike that is slightly off color and he is obviously proud he put some shit together it works .. none of this studio shit ... you have been warned.

these twats know me too well. That is a FANTASTIC frame, one that I toyed with the idea of building up just the other day- must have been the same one I saw on ebay. It will not take much to create an awesome looking build.

I'll have some tasty Ti porn for sale very soon - if you're interested- inc a Cinelli Grammo (ahead) stem...

I am fed up of Studio shots of a bike ... it supposed to be what some guy made in his spare time and he did a good job not some shot of some guys spending his life savings on a bike and hiring out a studio to take some photos it is verging on ridiculousness ... which is what some of the shots are looking like.. they are looking like professional photographers have taken shots of their bike .. ridiculous.

I don't really care where the bike came from originally ... I was making a point ... no more studio shot. It is becoming America's Next Top model on here not about bikes and riding. I keep on seeing almost professional looking pics of a bike, when it is just a bike. This shit ain't fashion for me ... it is a big part of my life and I am fed up of it becoming fashion.

Oh and you can cop out of an argument by saying you don't want to say no more ... that is fine .. but at the end of the day you still copped out.
