You're not allowed to race with different sized wheels under UCI regulations, which would apply to any official track races.

But anyway, no matter where i ride it, its gonna be a laugh -

Built me (finally) some high falutin' fancy road wheels....Sapim CX-Ray and Race.
Those are 2 different spokes, right?
So did you use the CX-Ray on the front and Race on the rear, how come? - price, aero?

Usual form is CX-Rays on the front and rear non-drive side, and Race on the rear drive side. Using a thicker spoke on the drive side, which has a very low bracing angle, is done to balance the axial stiffness of the wheel. I don't think its actually necessary on 32 spoke wheels, and for low spoke counts using more spokes on the drive side is a better solution, e.g. 24 spoke rears with 16 dive side spokes and 8 non-drive side.

Only the rims and cages

Sapim Race on rear drive side.
edit what MDCCtester said and any excuse to not spend any more that needed on CX Rays. Were easier to build than I thought and being bladed easy to see them winding up.

The axle doesn't fit the frame. The original sturmey archer gear hub had two flat bits on the axle. Any suggestions? But getting there
