MatP:
The Nag would look a lot better with tape/grip on the actual drops. Plus a better seapost and a black headset too if you are going for a black component theme.
Some attention to detail would be nice considering the bikes "lineage". It actually looks like it might be too big judging by the setup.

I agree about the bars, I hate grips on the tops of bars, ourys just looks stupid up there!

Just bought a Giant Peloton superlite, a lovely set of 8 speed, 16 spoke, tubular Shamals, and I have most of a record groupset to build it up with.
Should be a nice little geared bike for everyday stuff. Photos when I've got it all together. -

I thought that I disappeared due to some troubles.
And, I wrote the post of me who had memorized it again.
Please permit my overlapping post you.My new frame came from TFG yesterday.
Looking forward to building it up.
Hello MatP,
Hi from Tokyo Japan!! As you know I'm Tomity.
Nice to meet you on internet.N.Inamura of the character of your frame is former owner's name.
I know him well.It is his profile. (http://babelfish.yahoo.com/)
http://keirin.jp/pc/dfw/dataplaza/guest/membprofile?SNO=012500He became Keirin Japanese champion by famous Keirin rider.
He has a lot of other big Keirin racing titles. He famously became the champion of 1kmTT at high school days (amateur player age).
World cycling championships was held in Japan in 1990. He is high school days.He participated in tandem sprint, defeated the former world champion(France team pair), won 3rd place splendidly, and acquired the bronze medal.
The result was a surprise in the world to say nothing of Japan. At that time, it was big news.
right guy is Mr.Inamura(His hands up!!)His father was great strong Keirin rider. (Already retired. )Moreover, his younger brother is Keirin rider (active service).
You obtain frame with the history and are very lucky. Moreover, it is NAGASAWA brand.
The frame is very worthy also in Japan. (He has used KALAVINKA frame before. )Please value it. It is not recommended to paint again because the frame is valuable. Please maintain the state.
He has used KALAVINKA frame before.
Ride safe!!
Let's Keirin race!!

I inherited from my Uncle so it's not really a 'current project'. He was a 'hobby' track racer who later converted his bike to SS for commuting. I'm looking to change the handlebars as the current track drops (angle on photo doesn't quite show this properly - flatmate's wide lens skews the perspective slightly) mean the riding position is very aggressive.
Other than that, it's equipped with stronglight track cranks (chainring is bent by a millimetre or so) record hubs to super champion 'competition' rims and possibly a Holdsworth track frame. I'm not sure how to confirm this though - utilitarian forkends similar to this http://www.lfgss.com/thread32372.html but the frame number is partially obscured by the overly thick respray...
Never posted on a forum before so I hope the picture works! /luddite

Those Velocity make me cry.... : (We cant be that fussy/specific, its his bike, he bought it. Id set it up to look pretty close to the standard keirin look if it were mine (skinwall tyres, kashimax seat etc). But with road stem/bars.
I accept each to their own, we cant be too snobby. But oury's on the top of deep drops on a bike too big, just looks quite frankly, shit.

oh god that Nagasawa is being butchered. Grips on top of the bars? Seriously?
Also the frame obviously doesn't fit you, the seatpost is far to low.
Whats with the lacing for the front rim? Because it's certainly not cross 4. -
