What's that cable doing going from your front break to the seat?
-
• #27105
doubles as a belt
-
• #27106
also might not have had wire cutters that day
-
• #27107
but why would the cable for the front brake even be that long? Nothing makes sense.

This is my "bike" it was a perfectly good Viscount 10 speed before I got my hands on it.
Any way first build and I was on a super tight budget.
( Brake went on 2 mins after this photo was taken)

Does anybody own a front-loading quill stem that they'd like to sell me? Preferably black.
Andy?

Who built it for you?
-
• #27116
not sure why you have such tight clearance at the front thoguh, surely those tyres will kick all kinds of crap into the fork crown?
-
• #27117
regardless, it looks sick.

Ricky at Feather cycles! It's off the the coaters today for a clear today!
The crowns so tight as I'm running 47c tyres, and that's the longest 29er fork stays he could get!

i wouldn't clear coat it. looks really nice though.

What would you do? I love being able to see the brazing...
I see paint job's as a non-permanent decision though. Strip and dip and I can change the colour! -

clear almost always looks unfinished to me. especially with fillet brazing.
i'd do a plain white powdercoat with a deep red FEATHER logo. that just comes to mind immediately. i'm sure there are lots of choices. but something clean and understated. that with all black/steel parts.
