@Kingcutter - yeah I'm not of the school of thought that says always repaint frames at all, i've only got them done in the past when they've actually needed it. But I thought the decals and headbadge (sticker?) look a bit modern and tacky compared to the nice lugwork so something more vintage would be fitting... that said, might be able to remove the dodgy stickers

@Harry - I've told you already, NO. Too boring... now see the penguin bikes thread, if it wasn't such shameless stealing of an idea then I'd def do that, it looks awesome

@andyfallsoff - You could talk to Argos Cycles in Bristol... I think they are meant to be pretty good at reconditioning paint work.

Like Kingcutter said, it's a really nice colour combo, just needs a bit of touching up I think.

Scrub, then apply several coats of wax. Bring up chrome with Autoglym metal polish.

Just won this. Going for a classic look seeing as it has nice lugwork - any ideas where to get it painted? Asides from the Dovvles super-service, of course, I've heard there is a really, really long queue... and although armourtex are on my road, I think i want a nice contrasting lugs type job so powdercoat is prob out too
