do you think this frame is dead. i crashed 5 weeks ago and put myself in hospital for 5 days. -
• #26804
I wouldn't ride it. The fact it's bent to the side would affect the 'ride' massively.

• #26805
Not necessarily dead, but very ill. It needs transplant surgery, which may be so expensive that it's cheaper to have it humanely destroyed.

It'll buff out.

Anyway, you can't say this without disclosing any gory details. Cock tease.

that bianchi is almost there. looks nice. some black deeper profile black wheels would put it over the edge. nice.
the purple rixon is the most beautiful i've seen in a long time. the only fixed i've seen in a while that makes me jealous. SICK. perfect combo of chrome and black.
p.s. just noticed the image name and the sticker on the seat tube. does it say starwars? fucking UGH! WTF?!

i could put that in the fly press make it true and straight, then you could weld a small strip along the side of the tube at a right angle to it. -

that is so nice!
I just picked this up today
I've known about this bike for about 4 years and I've finally managed to get my hands on it. Most of the components are pretty knackered but the frame and original paintwork are pretty good. I got the original Campagnolo cranks for it about a year ago and they've been on my girlfriends bike up untill now. Anyone got any tips on gettting a the seat post out? It's a fluted post and it doesn't want to shift at all!
Nice frame. I've not tried it myself, but I've heard good reports about this stuff.

And who's the frame by? I would image that you know, and it's someone legendary...
Just had it confirmed as being a 1934 E F. Russ. Well chuffed! He designed this particular type of fork, which others like Selbach then used.
Bit more info here..

Ha ha, no puppies will be harmed during the restoration of this bike. Definately gonna stick with the original paint job on this one.
