  • I really do need to sell the heap that is my bike stuff.

  • sell stuff and save up, time is your friend after all.

Time is most definitely not my friend. My bike is by far the cheapest and most fun method of transport. Without cranks my bike is useless. I can't use my BMX to get anywhere fast, so I need to get my bike sorted ASAP. Some days I wish I hadn't sold my Fuji and decided to convert a geared lo-pro into a fixed everyday bike.

  • This frames is winging its way to me. Stealth bike project! Badged as Wallis (?) but seller told me it was originally a Graham Weigh. If anyone can shed any more light that would be rad.

  • Kinda nice. That got a sloping TT?

  • Looks like compact geo.

  • Looks like a Ganwell Pro Carbon Evasion

  • Yeah it's got a sloping TT. Don't think it's the Ganwell though! Carbon fork but alloy frame. I'll post more pics when it arrives early next week.

  • Looks a bit like a Fuji Track Pro to me!

    Stealth build?

  • Yep, it does look like Fuji 2008. But it looks like the top tube is slightly fatter.

  • My current projects

    L>R
    1: Hirame - finished
2: Brian Rourke - revert to original Modolo Kronos brake levers, long term find some 24 hole rims to go with some small flange C-Record hubs I have laying around
    3: Azonic - finished
4: Saracen - change to rim brakes and fit On-One Mary bar and mudguards
    5: ProLite - finished
6: Look - upgrade wheels to DuraAce*
7: Fort - probably use the Deda Aeroblue bars I have laying around
8: Koga - Hed3 front and either Hed3D or Zipp 900 rear, long term maybe 3T Ventus bars
9: Kona - sell to make room for dedicated track bike

*mainly so that I can put the RS-80s with a Surly Fixxer on the Koga as everyday wheels, which frees the Mavic Ellipses for the putative track bike.

  • ^ This photo is unacceptable. Individual pics please. :)

  • I'd like to see a photo of the Fort.

  • Individual pics please. :)

Some of them are already up, the others will be as they get worked on

I'd like to see a photo of the Fort.

It's in the Armourtex thread, I'll put it in here if/when I swap over the bars

  • Finished messing with the Dolan replaced the cheap Black headset with a Dura ace one the black chain was awfull to ride so went back to a nice silver track chain, and some Prolite pista bars.
Took it on the Velodrome yesterday and it rides really nice .

  • Whassat saddle 'cutter?

  • Nice KC. Make the photo more interesting though. Put a silly hat on your cat and put it on your saddle or something

  • was that room built to hold your bike upright? haha

  • Looks really good, KC. What made you ditch the Thomson seatpost?

  • @ jammy it's a san Marco not sure what model thogh sorry it has no padding and very light it looks like a stripped SLR

@G tried the Cat with some Track mitts
@ max stuck it back on my Planet x may use it if i find a road stem.

  • Nice one, KC... Preferred it with a Thomson stem tho', or was that another bike? I've lost tarck... ;]
Lovin' Nuknow's Panasonic too, don't sell it (to anyone but me)...

  • 2: Brian Rourke - revert to original Modolo Kronos brake levers, long term find some 24 hole rims to go with some small flange C-Record hubs I have laying around

    ? like:

MAVIC CARTRIDGE BEARING HUBS 24H on MAVIC GOLD OR10 SPRINT RIMS (for tubular tyres) 126mm rear OLD 13-18T 6-spd SUNTOUR freewheel Excellent condition very lightly used and extremely light Vittoria Chrono CS tyres £65

would like to see the Rourke in its full glory.

  • Looks like a San Marco SKN...

  • Collected the Wallis frame today. The finish is much nicer than I had expected. Nice welds. And super light! Need to source brake, bars and cranks to get rolling. Still not sure on the provenance of the frame. Both the Fuji Track Pro and the Dolan Track Champion are similar but have seat stays that start lower down on the downtube...
