It's a cheap locomotief road bike, always handy to have a road bike for long distance riding, even if it have simplex dérailleur, I didn't buy it to please you.
My new bike hasn't arrived yet.
Finally getting that Nagasawa you've always dreamt of :o)

tried that, i even worked it out for him!
£30 for all those? I'd imaging it would cost a bit more than that, a BB installation in a typical london bike shop is like £15-20.

Just humour him, get the frame, and then all the part together, and enjoy the sight of your mate's shocked face when he read the bill.

well if his trust fund/pocket money has come through, let him buy a 3Rensho for cross country and he can use the Kona for the track.

It wasn't a dig, but a poor attempt at humour. Grow a spine. Chastising him for riding a shonky mtb but only on the roads. Whilst posting on a bike site about using vaguely impractical bicycles in a city full of pothole* and magpie bike thieves. Pot / Kettle
*typo in memory of the return of the scoble and some monstrosity of a new photographed bike.
