Teddy has a Storck too...
I have beater with a Graham weigh cyclocross frame that I'm super comfortable on (basically a cheapy dolan etc. alu with a different badge). Despite being the smallest of its model (well I'm not just furry, I'm small too), it has a long 545mm top tube, 73deg headtube, and 74deg seat tube (like a grown-ups bike, woop!).
The Storck has the exact same geometry (in a 51), minus the hefty clearances.
Want!

Also posted this in the Gazelle thread.
I got the frame back last week from Bob Jackson who did the re-spray. I bought the bike from Tel off the forum, and the paint job was really nice. But I had my heart set on this paintjob though after seeing another bike from the porn section. I also changed the saddle and the bar tape. Im really pleased with how it came out.

How much, Mc nebula? I could have swopped you for one of my spare sets of square taper 49ds if only I'd known.
However.. beware! This happened to one of mine. No impact, just internal corrosion.

I will bear that in mind. What condition are your 49D's in?
I've not decided on a price for the 49A set yet, and I won't be able to do anything about selling them until Monday at the earliest. I am at uni, and they are at home. Also, swap? I was under the distinct impression that a good condition 49A set with English threads and amazing chrome was worth a lot more than the 49D's?
I will PM you when I have them in my hands on Monday.

Thanks!
I was so impressed with Bob Jackson. It took about 3-4 weeks, but it was well worth the wait. Very friendly bunch of chaps, and they did such a professional job.

@johnnyfiasco. Yes, for 9 years Bob Jackson was my local painter and ive had a few dont there. Brilliant service. My only criticism is that they could do with a wider range of colours. They havent really kept up with the times in terms of custom colours or modern-looking solid colours.
Heres a job they did for me....

Aren't all 67 options on their website available??

Silver Hope Pro3 Hubs, Silver DT Swiss Revolution Spokes and Mavic Open Pro Ceramic rims just ordered. Punish that bank account!
If you've not paid over the odds it is money very well spent.

A mate just bought a Bob Jackson, he said there's a large selection of colours. They also said they'd be willing to mix colours if they didn't have exactly what he wanted.

It's a nice bicycle frame, build it and ride, make sure it fit thought. And dont ride wearing jean on the hipster spice route. [/scoble]

Why does it have the Colnago logo inside the C on the downtube? or is that a commonly used logo on bikes?
-
• #25442
yes i dont know whats up with it. originaly its a koga frame.
-
• #25443
If I remember correctly, quite a few frame-builders have used playing card symbols, not just Colnago.
-
• #25444
yes i already build it up, but have another frame now so only got the frame left now.
-
• #25445
Yep - took a bit of hunting and had to buy it from Canada in the end but they do exist:
Hope it's better quality than my last Flite..
After a week (mostly wearing lycra):
I send it back to CRC, got a refund, bought another model (the one just a bit earlier than this one) and it did the same within a week...
Shitty crap saddles.. I have several black ones that never did this, and I have one of the older yellow real leather Flites never did this..
I hope your SLR holds out better.. It looks to be used so I guess it will :)

^ (@steelarts) I really like the yellow tyres against the frame colour. Would like to have seen it with black bar tape and a clean drivetrain. What's the stem?
