what size tyres on your sword, i;ve got 28c rando's on mine and its nowhere near as tight as that!
I really wanted that colour too but i got one of the first batch's and they only had black in the 59 left... such a good bike though, the geometry is sweeet -

Cheers Propeller.
Sammy the tyres on mine are 28 marathon plus, clearances at the back are tight too.
I only realised not long ago that swords have a forwards sloping top tube. Dont know how that effects stuff but the bike is bloody comfortable. -

Dont know how that effects stuff but the bike is bloody comfortable.may or may not effect shit. you could erase the top tube in MS paint and the bike would be the same. in the context of what youre getting at, the closest measure is the length of the headtube.
that fork is sexy.

You and EVERYONE else at Evans. Great deal though. Half tempted myself and I'm not a fan of modern bikes.

Getting pretty close to done, after delays with too little headset to brake caliper clearance and needing to find an older style cassette lockring. Columbus Max steel frame, and mid range pick and mix Campagnolo 10 speed groupset.
Can anyone help me with the STI bosses on the frame, they are extremely shallow in depth, is it just a crimped cable end I need to fit them, or some sort of barrel adjuster?
Thats just a cable guide (on the headtube) you know. 4mm gear outer should fit through fine. If not its too full of paint. Then into those thingys Tileover linked too.

the deal is too good, and the bikes are preeeeety good. 3 guys at my shop have them. althogh i'd prefer the pro machine, but i cant afford it. there's rumours of a BMC team haha

You might as well ask for a complete recital of Graham's number.
Sugino 75's are ISO taper. dura ace bb will be JIS. The taper is only very slightly different. You can run ISO cranks on JIS tapers, and vice versa.
JIS BB spindles are slightly fatter than ISO spindles. So, if you were to fit 2 sets of identical ISO cranks, one on an ISO spindle and one on a JIS spindle, the cranks on the JIS spindle would sit a few mm further out from the BB shell.
From memory, sugino 75s run on a 110 ISO spindle (or is it 109?) to get 42mm chainline. Therefore a 107mm JIS BB might put you in the ball park.
However, as Sheldon brown pointed out (I think), a lot of companies really don't precision engineer the tapers in their cranks (even the expensive ones!), and he found massive discrepancies via the use of digital callipers with different pairs of seemingly identical cranks.
More people still vehemently oppose the use of JIS on ISO and vice versa. I have a set of 75s that have been used on JIS BBs for seemingly eternity (I bought them 2nd hand), and they seem to run ok. using a 107mm bb seems to be the easiest and cheapest option for getting an optimal chainline with 75s, unless you want to splash out on the phil BB with adjustable cups, or a centaur bb (if you can find one! Now that centaur cranks use the ultra torque system, i'd guess that square taper centaur bbs are going to be discontinued soon, if they haven't been already).
Hope this helps.

bad quality cheap bars (they are bent on a gas pipe bender [very badly bent:] - one side is so different from another)

Sorethroat - what are the bars/stem?
Skully - frame sounds RAD! Spill the beans already!
