I got my frame back from Armourtex yesterday, and it looks fabulous. Will snap some pictures tonight, still waiting for the crank set to turn up. flowmont's previous post prompted me to post, that skyblue is exactly what I went for too.

the bars did feel a little strange the other day man, sure they're not angled down a little. lovely by the way. how are those straps working for you?

Stem is fine, saddle does need to go back. Quivering to get it built and out on it earlier in the sun, hasty-ness is unforgivable.

Cheers for telling me at the time...
They don't hold for skids but they're better than nothing. Think I might get some BLB double cages and straps come next paycheck. -

That's why I got it :-)
it's the 2009 so proper 1 1/8th with integrated headset like the 2010 but with better paint, not like the earlier 1" steer with regular headset jobs.
Now I just need to find something to do with it.

is replacing the Planet X... or just another pony in the stable?

not like the earlier 1" steer with regular headset jobs.
I like the older one; I can use a Chris King headset and the skinny steerer is more aero, innit?

Friend has asked me to paint his BMX for him. Only a rattle can job, but it's taken all day to finish the first half...
Here's the initial idea for the paint scheme:
Having spent ages priming, wet-sanding, and cutting 5mm squares in masking tape with a razor blade:
Here's the progress at the end of day one:

Need to apply the graphics and clearcoat it all now. Pretty pleased with how it's coming together :)
