the sugino's are obv the prettiest but I'd go with the 600s for a commuter. I had problems with them once upon a time, found the alloy very soft, maybe they were badly fitted....

I run brake/s though so no such issue. Well, not with the Vigorellis and they are not as good as the Track Pros

Mine were fucked after riding about a mile. It wasn't skidding the fuck out of them, just applying a bit of pressure backwards and they went.

any info on what caused that? or just front end collision?

well and truly fucked. and the bike was new to you at the time wasn't it?

i've seen them go like that on other bikes too, ones with front brakes and obvious usage of said brake (rim wear).
