just dropped off my crank and chain ring (Sugino), seat post and stem (NItto NJS), and other bits to be anodized to black.
Just bought a new Stratos fork off NJS Blogspot
Painting frame is next.
It's a proper track frame from Waterford. The wheels are Mavic Ellipse, so literally all the parts are going to be black.... I'm thinking a cream white frame? Anyone have a bike with all black parts that i can see? Need some ideas for the color of the frame.

There are plenty in the porn thread that are nice, although this is obviously subjective. I love stealth bikes!

All black is the easy option, trying to find a single plain colour which works with all black components is the reason most people take the easy option. Probably something quite bright; my roller bike looks OK with all black components, and it's bright orange. Multi colours and big logos work too, but simple old fashioned paint in simple old fashioned colours works best with silver components.

• #23715
i was actually just thinking a bright light baby blue, or light periwinkle blue.
i'm with you on the silver component thing, but that just isn't an option for me without replacing the wheels.

That blue sounds gorgeous.
But in seriousness, I've also always wanted a really dark metallic blue, but not quite navy blue. 14 have some of their frames done in the colour I'm referring to. Maybeh someone has piccys

Is this worth picking up? 80s Viking Colorado, being sold for €100, I could get it cheaper though. Looking to get a nice enough frame onto which I can stick the stock parts on my current bike as I upgrade them.

Not quite all black, but this Steamroller is close to what you're thinking of doing I think.

Thought so...if he'll take €30 or something I might pick it up. Are there pictures anywhere of any nice built up vikings?
