Currect project, almost finished.
Been cycling it the past 3 days, feels great, first track frame for me.Going to replace the brake shifters with a small one (paul e-lever?!).
And still looking for a drilled fork but other then that very happy with it.

Looks nice, though it does look a bit weird with the brakes... :)
I have to admit that I do not like the look of trackbikes with brakes on them... But I do see the point of having them..

Shimano Nexus 8 speed hubs with roller brakes ;aced to Mavic touring rims finally got build;
downside? no fucking bike.
Are you building a Tandem? :)
I'm actually thinking about using a pair of those rims when I'll have to build wheels for my tandem... Only in the 36h version because I'm not really rich enough to get tandem specific hubs, and I think the frame is 126mm spacing rear anyways, since it's from the 70's.

funnily enough, I chosen the touring rims because I know it would be strong enough to carry heavy load, especially the missus on the rear rack.
the original wheelset on the Globe Haul were pretty beefy, if those can hold, the Mavic should be plenty.

Oh she read it and 'chuckle', I says 'chuckle' because she's wearing a facemask on and all I can hear is a faint chuckling sound coming from her throat.

You should really build a tandem I think...
I hope my girlfriend can live with the one I'm hopefully getting friday, then I'll not have to wait for her when we ride together this summer ;)

a mate and i were talking last night about having a competition to try and put together a worst anti porn bike that , shouldn't everyone have an antiporn bike somewhere hit up your spares cupboard and see if you can do worse
and of course following on an anti porn ride ? show london some truly aweful bikesi think it would be a fun challenge for the forum to get a bike looking worst than that thing

Fun, but wouldn't it desensitise us, numb us from the keen blade of emotion, the horrible and wonderful fascination and despair of seeing the genuine article pop up every now and then?
