nice and simple, i like it

  • 36 spokes flailing away in the breeze are going to kill any speed you've gained with the tyres...

Which is a bad thing for training wheels, why?

  • For a budget track tubular, I'd take the Vittoria Pista CS, which is only £5-£10 more than the Milano.

Strange, because I would avoid them like the plague. Once of the worst made tubs I have ever tried.

Just seems odd to put a super fast tyre on a slow wheel. If they're for making life hard in training, why not go for Zaffiros?

I bow to your superior knowledge, I was basing my judgement on hearsay rather than personal experience. I gave up tubs many years ago, and if I ever go back it will only be on the basis of having more money than sense and I'll be picking over the nuances between different tyres from FMBoyaux.

  • Treated myself to a nice set of wheels for the Bob Jackson

  • shallow rims on classic lugged

  • scuse my ignorance but arent they tubs?

  • Are they Dr. Chan's Atlantas?!? Was it you KC??

  • that looks mint KC

  • dibs

  • i don't why, but every front wheel at that bob j. looks like a 26".

i take it your a fan of the Charge Plug? ;-)

Was it made for 27" wheels?

  • BJ Vigorellis are track/path frames build for mudguard clearence. And then some.

  • bj vigorellis are grasstrack frames actually

  • kingcutter, good look

  • Finally got going on the Gitane CHrono+ frame I picked up of our own White Flower last year. Its been pimped round the forum a fair bit before, this F+F. It's going to be a training machine so not bothered that its a little heavy (Columbus Cromor) and looks wac.

Found a use for a 1" carbon fork I've had kicking about for a bit. Better clearances (chrome one marked 700C but brake drop seemed large) and 300g lighter... ...should be rideable this week.

Sorry bout pics light was failing.
