Very Nice - whats the stem?
Stem? It is absolutely czech ordinary produced from cca 1963 to 1985 99% at 7cm and a few at 11cm. All bikes produced at CSSR used this stem. Typically communistic era. In early 90´ies we all replacing this short terrible stem to cheep ITM, RINO, 3TTT, Modolo...So, it is 2009, and I keep this steel/aluminum stem at left hand, and 100% aluminum slim Kalloy at right hand... Frame from 1978... Yes!!! Today I make old communistic favorit stem rehabilitation!!! And I am sure, that this stem was been installed at this frame of end of 70ies... Communists! FAK OFF!!!

Little update on the S-Works...
Crankset on for picture, ISIS BB has arrived along with Saddle. Just need to decide on groupset; either Ultegra 6700 or a mix of other components.

I'm hedging my new wheelset, with a view to limiting my hipster exposure.

Fucking dibs.

Nice.
I would suggest alternate yellow and pink spokes and tricolour tyres, to add that tough of class. -

epay.u.s.a. 18 dorrah a pop.
Order some tyres whilst you're at it, the UK importer of Paselas isn't getting anything smaller that 1&1/4 in these days, so i'm told.
EEEEK! I am so excited, I just paid my deposit on a custom frame. The die is cast! Now to spend the next 6 months obsessing about it ... lugs or fillet (or filed lugs!), compact or trad, chrome or paint (and what colour!? I'll be starting endless threads asking everyone to help me decide on what I've already decided on), blah de fucking blah.

@Pistanator
Atlantas and low phils, nice work geez.I have to say not a word, they are lust thought. You have to use whatever spokes I am using thought (they are really commonly used but cos I use them I'm going to pretend I invented that shit).

Hopefully theres a rear Hope Pro II SS hub in my postbox when I get home from work. Possibly the crank arms too.
Have just this second ordered some lovely Hope disc brakes (no road frame for me this crimbo). If I can fund the BB and pedals in the near future I should be finished putting things together over the holidays.
Just looking at the build plan and should come in at around 8.5 Kg. None too shabby for a steel framed 29er with 2.55" tyres. This thing should be a blast to ride.
Gotta love that gunsmoke colour.
...and in cambridge...with dad's who forget they'd won a bike in an auction some time back. anyway...who lives in lofts these days? lofts are like, soooo 90's.
