  • Henry never saw that one was that one of yours?

  • yup...
my oxford bike for a while, in many forms, and then i had to go to NZ.
    sigh....

  • that's fucking real nice man. shame. sorry i'm not helping.

  • its genius, taking photos of two bikes and then claiming they're 1.
    nice twin Dave Marsh's
    they ride like dreams----

    sigh.

hehe, yeah, two Dave Marsh's could be quite greedy, I've always loved them so chuffed to own one. I was keen on yours when you were selling, and there was that pink one that was on here a while back, also beautiful.

  • you should've see the close up of the paintjob....
    metallic baby blue.
    mmmm, mmmm.
hellomiles has it now, and he's treating it well, so its all good:

and still kept the lucky bell in that photo...
is it still on there amigo?

@ maxcrowjo, campag omega v's on gran compes.
    think jonny has them now.
If i could find some 36h clinchers in black I'd buy them in milliseconds.

    Duuuuuude! Love that :-(

    What rims? Mavic? Campag?

  • wait a minute...
these two daves actually are one. with the wickedest paint job i've for a really long time.
    magic! congratulations
any chance for a side pic?

  • I really love this Dave's color.

  • Nice to see another Dave Marsh. Took the bell off, sorry Henry! I should put a more recent pic up, it has drops and a fluted seatpost now..

your bikes are always ace, so I'm looking forward to seeing it!
what's the thought on the color scheme?

how could you take the lucky bell of wisdom off?
nah its cool, good to hear you'r still riding it.

@ IRLeo, can't remember at all---- miles?

  • @ henry, what tubing was on yours?
@ dron, will post a side pic this week, once completed, cheers :)

  • Columbus SL on mine. What about yours?

  • it's gonna be the obvious choice of white saddle and grips, pretty much like how my mate had it, plus it's what i have conveniently spare. also grey rims :)

  • mine is also columbus but doesnt say what type...makes a nice change though since all my others are 531 and one 753

  • I want a lugged track frame now. Why oh why are they so rare in my size?

  • what size do you need max?

  • Max I have something v. nice in your size. PM me if you are serious

  • 62cm Max?

  • Leo, 64cm c-c for something like that.

    Joe, PM coming.

Ved, can get away with 62cm on the Steamroller but if I wanted a track bike with drops I'd need less seatpost and more bike for a smaller saddle to bar drop.

  • Not really you want something a tiny bit smaller that you can really throw around on the track.

  • a friend is selling a 60cm, not big enough i guess, he's 6'2". it's nice tho...

  • Yeah 60cm would be a tiny bit small, what is it?

Ved, I can understand that but to be comfortable in the drops using a standard quill stem on a lugged frame I can't be that high up above the bike

  • ambrosio bars are copies of the cinelli, so either will do just fine.
Shop 14 stock them, haven't seen them stocked anywhere else.

Yeah, the Ambrosio Campione del Mondo bars are the same as the Cinelli Campione del Mondo. Which on your link are the deepest, so a set of the shallow ones would be a good investment.

Shallow for road riding in the summer months
Deep for roller training in the winter months

    Cheers.

  • Yeah 60cm would be a tiny bit small, what is it?

it has 'viscount' stamped on the top of the seat stays but have never heard much about them. got a chrome rear triangle and chrome forks, the forks are quite beefy too. and it's quite tight but not overly so.
