  • managed to squeeze the 700c's on there!!

    Ha, hardly a squeeze.

Nice looking first bike, and I would avoid BMX pedals and go clipless personally.

    Also no more white.

I ride clipless on my TT and road bikes, but having only ever ridden a fixie for 5 minutes the other month i don't fancy it straight away, unless I'm on a traing ride somewhere quiet....
    Don't worry, no more white!!!
    What about decals??
powder coating only cost me £35....I thought it was a bargin!!

  • That is a bargain, depends how good the job is though of course. Time will tell...

In my opinion you will enjoy riding fixed alot more if you stick with the clipless pedals & shoes you use on your other bikes. Up to you though of course.

  • Echo the comment above, nice first build, no more white. Brand / Bland?!

  • brand/bland?? explain mate....you mean keep it clean?

  • your mixing up the word bland with brand... i said it looks a bit bland, i.e simple looking

  • Dylan how's your bike coming along mate?

  • Yea, I'll agree with bland...can't really think of putting anything on it?? gonna stick a bottle cage on it for longer rides...maybe that'll break it up a bit??

  • Bland is good.

  • Dylan how's your bike coming along mate?

  • I hope he has an understanding wife/partner/housemate :)

Bikecad of my current project. Still a month away.

and people say my bike has a massive headtube...

  • Yea, I'll agree with bland...can't really think of putting anything on it?? gonna stick a bottle cage on it for longer rides...maybe that'll break it up a bit??

nothing wrong with it man, it a mere observation, an opinion, which is meaningless. Your happy with it, so that is A'Ok

  • Nah mate, I'm after some observations!! cheers!!

  • man, just tape your old one like me!! :-)

i have but it's not long enough to be permanent. Its so annoying waiting for a part you know should be there already.

  • know what ya mean, I'm not riding mine until its finished properly!!

  • That HT is about 3/4 of the length of the forks!! :-$

  • That HT is about 3/4 of the length of the forks!! :-$

  • head tube

  • roger that...,he's on aout the "cartoon" above.....The good thing is that I know where the head tube is!! :-)

  • In plain english please.....HT? height?

I'm talking about a bike frame, take a long hard guess....think.....

    Bit like DT or ST

  • i dunoo really, but i still think the frame looks too big for a person 6'6", like i said earlier im 6'3" and i need no where near those kind of tube lengths. it seems overly big
