I been tinkering, though not much:
I'm hoping that I'll just be making a handful more posts on this page.
I'm done with bike buying and building:
The next few posts will be:
GH2 Finished- Fixed style.
GH1 Finished- New Rear Wheel, Bar Tape and Saddle.
GH2 Touring Geared Set up Finished.
And at some point next spring:
My old Moser done and repaired to its former glory, with all the correct parts on it.And what is the bike in the photo then? Looks rather nice.

I think its the Geekhouse 2.

• #17704
It is not the GH2, I'm afraid.
The wheels are still being built up for that.
Its a whole nother kettle of fish:
mwah hah hah hah.
I had saved up for ages, found all my bonds I'd had since I was a kid, cashed all of them in, worked hard last year and this year, got myself a new job and decided to complete my bike collection.
I have:
1 shopper/polo
1 hipster fixed
1 tourer/supercool fixed
1 road bikeI'm done.
The Moser will be completely renovated and then sold. I have no space, and now no money! -

Yeah that's what I thought it was. One of those threads that got lost in the great server crash. So what are you impressions then? Its a good looking bit of kit.

What the fuck Henry, where did that come from?!

Oh my jesus, its amazing!
just went for a lap of richmond park this morning, back home- few tweaks and then another.
Its just so perfect.
I can't even put it into words.
Definitely worth the money.
(I was gonna compare it to the carbon but have no knowledge of carbon at all).
I used my dad's old philosophy- if you can buy something at m and it will last for x amount of time, or buy something at 1.5m which will last for 3x amount of time, spend the extra and you won't regret it. So as I've stopped growing :( I thought it was about time to splash out on something that is really going to see the miles.
If I ride the amount I did at Uni, it will be used more than any other bike i use or own, and rightly so. Plus I do Triathlons, and this just fits right.
Edit:
that black tie thing sounded a bit cuntish- As many people know I went to that place for uni, my gf is still there. occasionally we have these stupid nights out where everyone dresses like a cunt and you network. I'm applying for medical school and this is a medical fundraising event. I'm really fucking excited as it will mean I will meet lots of doctors who'll hopefully give me some work experience...andyp- yes indeed.

More photos of the free Rossin.. after dismantle and a quick wash..
What would be the correct english word for tubes shaped like that?
The finishing of the frame is not very good.. the decals bubble a bit some places and the paintfilling in the lugs are a not done very good..
If you ever decide to sell/trade that frame then let me know!
Could do with a reason to visit Copenhagen again :) -

I have those rims! Where'd you get them from? They came with a bike i bought off ebay, built to gran compe hubs. Fantastic wheelset, really light!

It genuinely is not:
1.thats my parents lock up- my dad always takes any large packages for me there, cos we can easily recycle all the packaging- its opposite a recycling centre.
I was dialling it in as that photo was taken- thats literally straight out of the box.
Its lost about an inch of seatpost, and as I didn't personally set up the bike, I asked for 3 spacers so I could tune it in- like all people should. The Geo of the bike is designed as short ST, long effective TT which = long SP.
thus, if you look at the website, all seatposts are a little longer than normal. The stem is too long for me, they sent me a 120 when I wanted a 100.
Biomechanically, in the new, dialled in, position, the bike fits perfect.
My understanding of Biomechanics is not cyclefit level, but i have had quite alot of study in it. I can tell when my muscles are imbalanced, and know how to spot it on other people. I have very odd body proportions, but in no way could fit on the 570mm ETT large frame. This has a 547mm ETT which, plus a 100mm stem is my ideal fit.
Geo for the bikes are here:
GeometryBike Size cm: S(48) M(51) L(54) XL(57)
SeatTubeC2T: 480 510 540 570
ETT C2C(mm): 530 547 570 590Consider this:
in a standard LDNFGSS frame we see- the ST and TT(non ETT) are relatively equal. my track frames, and both my GHs rely on the fact that TT often = ST, this is due to the standard ratio of Armspan to Height roughly = 1.
On this frame the ST is about 4cm shorter than the TT, meaning around 1.5 inches extra of SP for the average rider. Even more so because of C2T vs C2C
Thus even when set up perfectly- a long SP is inevitable.
i will take a photo of the current set up sometime soon, probably when I showcase all my bikes on this thread in just over a week or so.i hope this helps and I fully expect a large number of arguments about what I've said.
