I'm riding 39/22 now and I think it's pretty perfect, could maybe go 40/22 but there's not really much in it.

Fixed/free with an 18t freewheel and rear brake is the way to go, no spinning down hills and I find it easier playing fixed with a rear brake over brakeless/front brake.

It's a lovely frame. Looks a bit stretched out but then again it's tiny. Lovely looking ride.

please put that 28t cog on, that will be the funnest thing to ride ever.

@ 90rpm thats 10mph, @200rpm thats 22mph.

Had it taken to (apparently the best sanblaster in east anglia something like 50 miles away), done with the finest possible sand. Took a while, but worth having it done properly.
