Today i spent all day polishing up a nice sturmey archer stem, some drops and then went down to my LBS and bought a pair of Sugino RD48s for £20! Should be good to go in about a week...
Some nice photos the guy who i made this for took today...

Nope, just acknowledging that fact that the rims are fit for purpose, not trackenger chic.

Just picked this up to restore for a summer jaunt to France next year, paid a bit much for it but I'm a sucker for Rourkes!
Not sure what I'll have to replace but the rims are sprint rims with Bianchi hubs for some reason, might just get them rebuilt with Open Pros if the hubs are in good nick.
Not really sure what else I'll have to replace so any advice would be appreciated!More photos/details here:

Slowly coming along, fitted the chainset and bottom bracket after I took this.
Suddenly the sadle I thought I'd set flat seems to be pointing up?

nice work Ray.
i like the scale model you did, i bet it was fun to make.you got some nice shots on you flickr too.
Then +1 to those rims, and the build generally. It's very nice. I just assumed it was a street ride (stupidly).
