  • slo pro is gone...that's why i need this one to fill the swoopy gap that's now left. :)

  • blowtorch and the chocolate donkey - for the ultimate mod :)

  • I bought this lovely, rustless Raleigh mixte frame to build into a singlespeed for my GF, without checking the size properly. Sod's law, it's a bit too big for her.

Undaunted, I've progressed with the build and this is where she stands today. Most of the bits have come from the forum - wheels, tyres, cranks, bars and stem. I've added one brake, need another for the back, and have a pair of levers to replace the tired chrome ones on the bars at the moment. The Raleigh threaded BB was a nightmare to get hold of but i found a chap in Norfolk who imports replacements which was a result.

The paintwork is original, a pearlescent green. The decals were crappy so I've taken those off.

I'm going to try to get hold of an old brown sprung Brooks saddle and some silver cage pedals and call it finished. I have fought the temptation to re-lace the rear rim to a proper track hub.

  • Looks good!

  • Buddha Fingaz - do you have any more information about this frame? I'm half Polish so am too looking for a frame that'll give me some weird sentimental value. Who's this Rychtarski person? The only Polish frame builders I know of are Orlowski and that guy that builds the Katana frames. Are there any others out there?

The Gromadas are out of Poland too.

  • Getting there.

    Yea that's sweet.

  • Almost there, just in search of an affordable C-Record crank but that might be a while.

Tried to stay true to the Raleigh track tradition with full Campag, and this is my very first Brooks saddle.

Not much more information about the frame, although I believe the Polish track team used to use Rychtarskis? Could be rubbish though. Have asked the seller for more information as he has another Rychtarski available, although it is not a track frame:
