ooooh, cant wait to see it murts, i highly approve of your anti-hip actions and Penchant for gunmetal grey, i recon its gonna suit the geekhouse really well :)

• #13056

save it from what? riserbars? :)
Apparently the stem is stuck. Like proper glued to the forks.. Any ideas how to
remove it w/o any harm? -
• #13058
Presuming that you can remove the stem bolt and then remove the stem and its just the wedge that is actually stuck...take it to a framebuilders - they can carefully heat up the steerer tube to get it out (I got Argos in Bristol to do it for me - cost a fiver)

Finally finished the KHS i got off DMC, its finished in a Gunmetal metalflake, which is pretty subtle until the sun hits it when it really pops, hard to see from photos.
Built to bit of a budget, will be getting a set of Sugino 75's on it when i next have some moola.

Apparently they are off a Pinarello that got totalled, i picked em up for a tenner from my LBS's parts bin

Damn, they look awesome, was thinking they'd be perfect for the polo machine...
-
• #13064
I have seen them on other bikes from early/mid nineties - i dont think they were a really high en fork, they crop up on eBay from time to time

• #13065

Almost finished, waiting fror the crankset to be delivered, then i have to get rid of cable guides and gear mounts on the frame and possibly respray (gutted about the paint really)
Then when i get paid, new tyres, pedals, toe clips/straps.

glad someone on here snapped it up.
seems an alright beater/everyday bike. Its a good stem to have stuck as well, just hope for that the headset doesn't need replacing ;)
Bloody nice Marlon!
And here was me thinking you'd gone for the lo pro :)
